Amazon’s Fulfillment Centers in India : State Wise

In the bustling world of e-commerce, efficient logistics and order fulfilment are paramount. Amazon, one of the world’s largest online marketplaces, has established a robust network of Fulfillment Centers (FCs) globally to streamline the process of storing, picking, packing, and shipping packages to customers. In India, a rapidly growing e-commerce market, Amazon has strategically positioned several sub-FCs across key cities to ensure swift and reliable service.

Amazon operates over 60 large storage buildings in India. These buildings are located in 15 different states and, combined, they have enough space to hold a huge amount of stuff, about 43 million cubic feet worth.

These storage buildings are where Amazon takes orders from customers, packs them up, and sends them out for delivery.

Amazon also has more than 25 special places where they keep things like everyday items and groceries, which they call “Amazon Fresh selection.”

All of these storage places, including the big ones and the special ones, cover an area that’s bigger than 10 million square feet in total. That’s a lot of space
